Coating Description

Single-layer Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) or hard carbon coating for NIR to LWIR wavelengths.

Optical Performance    

This is dependent on the substrate and the wavelength region. This graph shows the DLC coating performance on Si with a Non-Radioactive AR coating on the second side.

 Durability Performance

Adhesion, moderate abrasion, severe abrasion, sand slurry, humidity, salt solubility, salt fog, and water solubility as per the following (where applicable): MIL-C-675, MIL-M-13508, MIL-M-14806, MIL-C-48497, MIL-F-48616, MIL-STD-810F
