Non-Radioactive AR Coatings for MWIR

Coating Description:

Broadband multi-layer non-radioactive anti-reflection coating on various IR substrates such as Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, AMTIR, etc.

Optical Performance:

Average Reflection < 0.7% per surface and Average Transmission > 98.0% through both surfaces over 3.4 – 5.0 microns. This graph shows the AR coating performance on Si.

Durability Performance:

Adhesion, moderate abrasion, severe abrasion, humidity, salt solubility, and water solubility as per the following (where applicable): MIL-C-675, MIL-M-13508, MIL-M-14806, MIL-C-48497, MIL-F-48616
